Happy June, Newark. School's wrapping up, the days are long, and summer is settling in for real. Around the shop, June means one thing: the heat is here, and your vehicle feels it just like you do. Over the next few weeks we'll be sharing simple, no-pressure ways to keep your car running cool and comfortable all season — from air conditioning to coolant to the little things that make a long drive easier. We've been caring for our neighbors' vehicles since 1986, and after nearly 40 summers we know what Delaware heat asks of a car. That is a wrap on May.

Thanks to everyone who trusted us with your vehicles this month — from the Blue Hens we sent home safely, to the families heading out for Memorial Day weekend, to the contractors planning ahead for next winter. Forty years in, and we still do not take it for granted.

June brings real summer heat, longer drives, and (for our Fisher folks) the early order deadline. If something on your vehicle has been on your mind, this is a good week to get it on the calendar before things get busy.

A long weekend ahead, with a lot to mark.

Memorial Day, where we pause to remember the men and women who served and didn't come home. Graduation weekend for the UD Class of 2026 — congratulations to every Blue Hen walking that stage. And the unofficial start of summer, with everyone heading to the shore, the cookouts, and the long-anticipated road trips.

What does "factory-authorized" actually mean for your Fisher equipment?

It means our technicians are trained directly by Fisher. It means we have the parts on hand that other shops have to special-order — so when a control valve goes during a snowstorm, you are not waiting a week. It means we can warranty work to manufacturer standards. And it means when you call us, you are talking to people who know your equipment inside and out.
