Founded in 1966, Midtex Oil started with one small tanker and two pick up trucks delivering petroleum to farmers, ranchers and some small retail accounts. Now, Midtex Oil has grown to include 3 warehouse facilities, 20 convenience stores, and over 250 employees. Midtex Oil is a branded distributor for Shell fuels & lubricants. Our company is driven to provide superior products and services to our customers. Our goal is to be your "one-stop shop" for all your petroleum distribution needs. Shell branded lubricants offer a range of product for virtually any industry, including automotive, farming, trucking, mining, and manufacturing. Midtex Oil offers a full range of services and support products to compliment the lubricants. Inventory monitoring, ISO filtration, lubrication tanks and equipment, fuel additives, fluid exchange machines, lifts, and air compressors are just a few of the products we can supply to your business. We also offer Shell and unbranded gasoline, clear & dyed diesel, clear and dyed kerosene, Diesel Exhaust Fluid, E85, E100, and solvents.

What a great day celebrating 60 years of Midtex Oil!

Last week, we had the pleasure of bringing together our customers, employees, friends, and community to celebrate a milestone six decades in the making.

A lot has changed since 1966, but our commitment to our customers and the relationships we've built along the way has remained the same.

To everyone who joined us in celebrating 60 years, thank you! We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our customers, the hard work of our employees, and the communities we've been proud to serve for the past 60 years.

Today we’re celebrating a very special retirement at Midtex Oil. ❤️

After 13 years with Midtex, our Director of Sales, Jane Tumlinson, is officially retiring!

Anyone who has had the opportunity to work with Jane knows just how much she means to Midtex. Over the years, she has built countless relationships, been a trusted leader and friend to so many, and played an important part in making Midtex what it is today.

Jane, thank you for the time, hard work, and heart you’ve given to Midtex over the last 13 years. You will be greatly missed around here, but we’re so happy for you and excited for you.

Sometimes buying DEF in bulk quantities is the way to go and sometimes it is not. DEF's shelf life (the amount of time a product can be stored and remain appropriate for use) is dependent upon where and how it is store. If a product’s shelf life is exceeded it can result in unexpected costs that exceed the initial savings of buying in bulk.
