MEET BROOKLYN: A LITTLE FIGHTER WE’RE HONORED TO STAND BEHIND. 💙

This November, your hometown dealer is sponsoring Brooklyn in the Breakthrough T1D Walk. We’d love for our community to be in her corner, too!

Brooklyn was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at just 16 months old. Before she could understand what diabetes was, her family was learning how to manage it and care for her.

From meals and school to birthday parties and bedtime, T1D is part of every day. The planning and care never take a day off.

But as her family puts it, “diabetes has never defined Brooklyn.” She’s a little girl with a big heart and so much ahead of her.

On November 14, Brooklyn and her supporters will walk at Nelson Wolff Stadium in San Antonio, raising money for better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.

Our amazing community can help by donating, joining the walk or sharing her story. Let’s give this little fighter a whole hometown cheering her on!

A MORNING WELL SPENT 🍎

Our team from Bluebonnet Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, Bluebonnet Ford, Bluebonnet Ram Commercial Truck Center and Bluebonnet Certified packed over 3,000 pounds of fresh produce at the New Braunfels Food Bank!

With the holidays right around the corner, the need is great. That’s why we love partnering with the Food Bank! This wonderful nonprofit serves more than 7,000 people facing food insecurity EVERY MONTH, with a mission to fight hunger across 29 counties in Southwest Texas. That’s a lot of neighbors to care for, and we’re thankful for the chance to help. 💙

✨ Employee Spotlight ✨

Stephen Hui has been part of the Bluebonnet family for 11 years — but his connection to our company goes back even further! 🙌

Stephen briefly got his start at Bluebonnet Ford, and he credits our own Rene Perry for helping him get the opportunity that brought him here.

“She’s an amazing person. She helped me get this opportunity. She’s been a great friend and leader.”

For Stephen, one of the best parts of working for Bluebonnet and the Kahlig Auto Group is the emphasis on family.

“I adore my wife and kids tremendously. I spend as much time as I can with them. There are long hours in this industry, but the Kahlig Auto Group and Bluebonnet work with you — and encourage you — to put family first.”

Stephen and his wife have three children, ages 18, 13 and 9, and being there for his kids is his top priority. After years of coaching his son through baseball, Stephen is now watching him pursue his goal of becoming a firefighter while giving his two daughters that same time and guidance.

Outside of work, Stephen loves family vacations, spending time with his wife and even collecting Pokémon cards with his daughters! 😂 He’s also passionate about photography, a hobby that helps him relax and allows him to capture memories for family and friends.

As a service professional, Stephen wants every customer to know they can trust us.

“We are not just a dealership. We are a family, you can trust us.”

He takes pride in turning stressful situations into positive experiences and building relationships that last.

Some customers have even become friends — including Mark, who regularly drops off DoorDash, pizza and coffee while keeping his classic Ford pickup with nearly 300,000 miles running strong!

“I don’t want customers to feel like just a number.”

Ask Stephen’s coworkers to describe him and you’ll hear: a genuinely great person, a good friend, great with technology and, most importantly, a wonderful father.

A TEAM WORTH CELEBRATING 👏

Today, we served up smiles in the BEST Service Department! Our Bluebonnet Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram technicians and service advisors wrapped up a fantastic September, helping thousands of drivers get back on the road safely.

As a ‘Thank You’ for an outstanding month, our team earned gifts including YETI portable coolers and Blackstone grills.

Congratulations to our service team! There’s a reason people from across South Texas trust Bluebonnet CDJR with their maintenance and repairs. Your hard work, dedication and care mean so much to our customers and our dealership. Thank you for all you do!

✨ Employee Spotlight ✨

Billy Salas recently celebrated his first year at Bluebonnet Certified . But that’s not all he has to celebrate! Billy has quickly become a top-performing sales professional … selling 103 pre-owned vehicles in the first six months of 2026! 🎉

The best part of his story? Billy was a loyal Kahlig Auto Group customer before becoming an employee. He purchased vehicles from Audi North Park and Bluebonnet Dodge, and tells us the experience Tom provided at Bluebonnet Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram especially left an impression. It was pressure-free and enjoyable! So when he decided to get into automotive sales, Billy applied at Bluebonnet.

“The experience that was given to me as a customer is the one I now strive to provide.”

When it comes to pre-owned vehicles, Billy believes customers shouldn’t have to choose between quality and affordability. Certified vehicles offer added assurance thanks to rigorous inspections, while buying pre-owned can save customers thousands — even tens of thousands — of dollars.

Already, Billy has had repeat customers and referrals.

“It’s rewarding to sell a vehicle or get a great review, but it’s a mark of success when they come back or refer a friend.”

Outside of work, Billy loves spending time with his wife and their three kids … ranging from 2 years old to 8! He also enjoys golfing, fishing and playing video games. Billy is a lifelong Colts fan and a committed Pistons fan (but we won’t hold that against him since there are Spurs fans in his family 😂).

Coworkers describe Billy as charismatic, dependable, knowledgeable, driven, trustworthy and customer-focused. And when a situation seems impossible? He always finds a way!

We’re grateful to have Billy as part of the Bluebonnet family and proud of all he has accomplished in his first year with us. Thank you, Billy, for your hard work, dedication and the great attitude you bring to the team. We’re excited to see all that’s ahead! 👏
