North Performance and Automotive North Performance and Automotive is an automotive repair/performance shop and PA State inspection station. We specialize in welding and custom fabrication.

Located in Mohnton, PA right next to Maple Grove Raceway. Rick Hoffman's Garage was established in the early 1980's as a small auto repair shop servicing the Mohnton, PA area. Founded on the principals of honest workmanship and a quality product, Ricks has been successful for the past 30 years thanks to its great customers. As of 2020, the business name has changed to North Performance and Automot

ive but has kept all the same great things people love about coming to this shop. You the customer will speak directly with our friendly technicians, there is no middle man. We have found this helps you the customer have a better understanding of what your car is having done to it. For the first time in a long time, we're looking to hire another technician!

At North Performance and Automotive, providing quality service to our customers is always the #1 goal, we hold high standards to our work and we are seeking another tech to join us! We are a very bustling shop and have a very wide variety of vehicles come through the doors on a daily basis so a knowledge of all manufacturers is definitely a plus. We also do quite a bit of performance work, fabrication/welding, and specialty work on various types of high end cars. We are open to a wide range of possibilities to fill this position so if you're interested in applying, please reach out and we can answer any questions you might have!

✅️hourly pay wage (rate will be based on skill level and experience)
✅️4 day work week Mon-Thurs 8am-6pm (1 hr paid lunch)
✅️availability for optional OT work on Fridays
✅️easy going work environment (we like to have fun)
✅️clean shop with plenty of room for activities
✅️very extensive collection of tools/specialty equipment, software and service information
✅️fully paid health insurance and 401k benefits
✅️opportunity to learn and grow your skill set from working with other highly experienced/qualified techs

Some things that we are looking for but not limited to:
✔️previous experience in the automotive field
✔️valid PA driver's license
✔️PA emissions and safety inspection licenses
✔️PA motorcycle inspection license
✔️ability to complete tasks correctly and efficiently
✔️ability to work independently to complete tasks
✔️good work ethic and willingness to learn
✔️knowledge/experience in performance/modification/customization
✔️cleanliness/upkeep of work area and all areas of the shop

A few weeks ago we had a beautiful car in with a unique engine swap, completed by our customer and he had us do some fabrication to add a turbo, making this a powerful combination! Now the car is in Florida at Grannas Racing to prototype a bellhousing to mate a T56 transmission to the Honda K series engine.
