It's great to see our friend (and customer), Scottie Southerland on the L&C '26 convoy. Nice shirt, Scottie!

But it wasn't so great to have the fire alarm in our hotel go off at 10 PM last night! Luckily there wasn't a fire, just air in the sprinkler line. It was a beautiful night to sit out in the parking lot for a short while. Being this close to the west end of the Mountain Time time zone, we caught the very end of the sunset!

Wyomissing, PA parade this morning

Celebrated America's 250th by driving WWII Veteran of the Navy Seabees, Irv, in our jeep in the Wyomissing, PA 4th of July parade this morning. Tyler Boland arranged 11 WWII Vehicles to carry about 15 WWII vets in the parade. What a crowd! And they were so appreciative of the veterans.

We started the day by taking the LidaMite and Allons-y to a small car show at Zerby Sisters Retirement Community and Nursing Home. Then went to Ridgewood Winery to watch the Big Boy go by.

Our friends at Ridgewood Winery, LLC invited us to bring our jeeps to their Union Pacific Big BoyTrain Viewing Party for the public to look at while waiting for the train to come by. Thank you Bill and Tracy Smith for that experience!

For America's 250th anniversary, the MVPA cross country convoy will be following the Lewis & Clark expedition route which opened the American West. Owners of over 50 Historic military vehicles will be making this trip at their own expense, living the MVPA motto - History in Motion.
