A Once-in-a-Lifetime Porsche
For most Porsche enthusiasts, the opportunity to own a limited-production Porsche is something that lives purely in the imagination. For Merritt Island’s own Mr. Gary Peterson, that dream became reality.
Through a PCA Raffle, Mr. Peterson was selected as one of the fortunate few to receive the opportunity to purchase the extraordinarily rare 2026 Porsche 911 Club Coupe, commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Porsche Club of America. Limited to just 70 examples worldwide for PCA members in the United States and Canada, the Club Coupe instantly became one of the most exclusive modern Porsche models ever offered to club members.
Presented by Dylan Kotoulis at Porsche Melbourne, Mr. Peterson’s Club Coupe is far more than simply a rare car. It is a deeply personal Porsche, configured specifically to his tastes and built to celebrate both the heritage of the PCA and the passion of enthusiasts like him who continue to keep the spirit of the marque alive.
Based on the highly regarded 911 Carrera T platform, the 2026 Club Coupe pairs Porsche’s 388-horsepower twin-turbo flat-six engine exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission, making it a true driver’s car in every sense. Porsche also equipped the car with enthusiast-focused performance features including PASM Sport Suspension, rear-axle steering, Sport Chrono Package, Porsche Torque Vectoring, and a mechanical limited-slip differential.
What truly separates the Club Coupe, however, are the details created specifically for this anniversary model through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. Finished in the stunning new Paint to Sample “Sholar Blue Metallic,” named in honor of PCA founder Bill Sholar, the car features exclusive badging, red accent details inspired by PCA colors, unique interior treatments, illuminated “Porsche Club of America” door sills, and Club Coupe-specific touches throughout the cabin.
This newest Club Coupe also continues a very special Porsche tradition. Previous PCA anniversary Club Coupes were produced in 2005 for the club’s 50th anniversary and again in 2015 for the 60th anniversary. Each has since become highly collectible among Porsche enthusiasts.
For members of the Space Coast Region, seeing one of these incredibly rare cars delivered locally makes the moment even more special. It serves as a reminder of what makes PCA unique: the people, the stories, and the passion that connects generations of Porsche enthusiasts.
Congratulations again to Mr. Gary Peterson on securing not just an extraordinary automobile, but a true piece of Porsche Club of America history.
