This weekend, October 16th–18th, is the Lake Mirror Classic in Lakeland, Florida! We always enjoy participating in this event, and this year we're bringing along our 1956 Mercury XM Turnpike Cruiser concept car.

This one-of-one concept car was built for the 1956 auto show circuit, making appearances in Chicago, Detroit, New York, and Cleveland. It also toured the country in a specially designed trailer featuring glass panels and a rotating turntable, allowing spectators to view the car from every angle.

Come see this incredible piece of automotive history, along with hundreds of other great cars, at Saturday's Concours d’Elegance from 10AM to 4PM!

Today, the museum welcomed members of the Deep South Cobra Club for their second visit to the AMCM. Their last visit was back in October 2018, so quite a bit has changed around here since then! Even better, they brought along some of their amazing Cobras. Here is a look at their cars, a few highlights from their museum tour, and a video of the group heading out.

If you happen to see a large group of Cobras heading toward Okeechobee, they're likely taking part in the club's Reptile Roundup!

We would like to thank the Deep South Cobra Club for their generous donation to Brevard Public Schools. We enjoyed having everyone back and hope it won't be another eight years before their next visit!

Our very popular 1953 Porsche 356 Limousine has been part of the American Muscle Car Museum collection since 2019, and it is currently live on Bring a Trailer. This one-of-a-kind Porsche has always been a conversation starter here at the museum, and now it has the chance to become part of someone else’s collection.

If you’ve ever seen it at the museum, you already know this isn’t your typical Porsche 356.

On Saturday, September 26th, the Satellite Beach Lions Club held their annual Car Show here at the American Muscle Car Museum. Despite heavy rain overnight, the weather improved by morning, and more than 100 cars still came out to support the local Lions Club. We sincerely thank everyone who brought out a car and helped support the cause!

As in previous years, everyone who registered a car in the show received an admission wristband to tour the museum collection. DJ Big Pappa provided the music and entertainment outside, as he does at nearly every car show here at the AMCM.

Also on hand were the Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation, selling tickets for a chance to win their 1971 Dodge Hemi Challenger Tribute, along with Helping Seniors, who were selling tickets for their upcoming car drawing here at the museum later this month.

Here is a look at the show. Thanks again to the Satellite Beach Lions Club for all of their hard work, and to everyone who attended and showed their support!

We have our first car show of the fall coming up this Saturday, October 3rd! Come see some great local cars, along with the AMCM collection, and support the local Satellite Beach Lions Club! Check out the video for more information!

The whole museum will be open from 10AM to 2PM, with the outdoor show and front showroom free. To get into the back main showroom, you will need a wristband, which is included for those who brought a car to the show, or $25 per person otherwise, with kids free as always. Come see everything we added over the summer and support your local Lions Club!.

On Saturday, September 26th, the AMCM hosted the Jingle Jet Fundraiser, and it was another great night supporting an important local cause. More than $22,000 was raised to help Jingle Jet continue its work with area families during the holidays.

For 20 years, Jingle Jet has helped local families facing difficult circumstances make the holiday season a little brighter. We really appreciate what they do for our community and look forward to welcoming them back to the museum again in September 2027.

As in past years, Wassi’s Meat Market played a huge part in the evening, providing all of the catering and desserts for more than 200 guests. They also donated a Big Green Egg to the fundraiser, something they have generously done for a number of charitable events here at the AMCM. We want to give Wassi’s a special thank you for their continued support of Jingle Jet and so many other local causes, and for those tasty, tasty pies.

The evening also included a great selection of auction and raffle baskets filled with items, experiences, and gift certificates donated by local businesses throughout the community.

Between ticket sales, raffles, auctions, and donations, this year’s event set an all-time fundraising record for Jingle Jet here at the museum.

With temperatures on the way down, local car shows are on the way up! We rounded up all the area shows we could find from now through the end of November.

As always, if you know of another local show that isn’t listed here, please share it in the comments so we can help spread the word.

Two of these events will be right here at the American Muscle Car Museum.

First up is the 15th Annual Satellite Beach Lions Club Car Show on Saturday, October 3rd. Every registered car includes admission to the entire museum, making this a great opportunity to enjoy the show and explore the AMCM collection.

Then, on October 25th, we’ll host Helping Seniors Car Giveaway Day, presented with the support of A.J. Hiers and Boniface-Hiers. One lucky winner will get to choose from seven different vehicles, each representing a different Boniface-Hiers dealership.

Tickets are $25 each, or you can receive five tickets with a $100 donation, with proceeds supporting Helping Seniors. The event runs from 1 PM to 4 PM, with the winning ticket drawn at 3:45 PM.

There are plenty of great car shows coming up around the Space Coast, so mark your calendars and get out there!

This Saturday, September 26, we’re excited to welcome the Jingle Jet crew back to the American Muscle Car Museum for their 20th Anniversary Fundraiser from 6–9 PM!

We always enjoy hosting Jingle Jet and its founder, longtime friend of the museum Tony Zazza. Making the evening even better, our great neighbors at Wassi’s Meat Market will once again be catering the event.

As in years past, the Jingle Jet team has put together an incredible selection of gift baskets, raffle prizes, and donations from local businesses throughout the community. There will also be a w**e pull featuring premium w**es, plus a chance to win a large Big Green Egg generously donated by Wassi’s Meat Market.
