Team Member Thursday: Meet Jory Sciarrino

If something runs smoothly around here, there’s a good chance Jory had a hand in it.

As the Administrative Assistant at our Mount Pleasant location, Jory helps keep a lot of moving pieces on track. On any given day, she’s managing schedules, working with vendors and customers, pulling together reports for leadership, helping plan company events, and working across departments to solve problems and keep projects moving.

If you came to our Pittsburgh Open House and Vendor Fair a few weeks ago, you saw her work firsthand. Jory coordinated the details that helped make the day a success!

What she loves most is the behind-the-scenes impact.

“When things go well, it often looks effortless,” Jory says, “but there’s a lot of planning and follow-up that makes that possible.”

She enjoys bringing order to complex projects and she likes that no two days are the same. Jory also appreciates being part of a team that’s always willing to jump in and help, making even the busiest days manageable.

And when she’s not keeping things on track at work, you’ll find her at the bowling alley. She’s in four leagues this season!

Cold weather is coming. A few things to check on your trailer before it gets here:

Lights and wiring. Road salt and moisture find every weak connection.

Tires. Pressure drops as temperatures fall.

Brakes. Check pads, drums, and slack adjusters now instead of on the side of the road in January.

Air lines and gladhands. Replace cracked seals before they freeze up.

Tip Tuesday: A few inches can cost you a load.

Multi-temp trailers give up space in ways a standard re**er doesn't, and that matters most on the way home. If you're building a new multi-temp, make it as large as your routes allow so you don't miss out on backhaul freight.

Team Member Thursday: Meet Tyler Rivera!

As one of our Outside Parts Sales Reps, Tyler spends a lot of time on the road, checking in with customers throughout his territory and building new relationships along the way.

But there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes, too. Tyler works closely with customers on larger fleet repair campaigns, helping them plan what they need and working with our vendors and suppliers to find the best pricing. The goal is simple: save our customers money and get their equipment back on the road as quickly as possible.

One of Tyler’s favorite parts of the job is actually the drive. His territory takes him through some beautiful country, and fall is his favorite time of year to be out on the road.

Fun fact: Tyler loves trying new foods. If you have a favorite spot you think he should check out, please share it in the comments!

It was a great day to catch up with longtime customers, meet some new faces, and spend time talking trailers, parts, service, and everything in between.
