Timing belt service—done the right way. 🔧
This VW TDI came in for a timing belt service, and on these engines, shortcuts aren’t an option.
With the engine out, every component is accessible, allowing us to inspect everything thoroughly and replace the timing belt with the precision these engines require.
Preventative maintenance like this is far less expensive than the damage a failed timing belt can cause.

Peterbilt 330 | Poor A/C Performance

The customer came in because the A/C wasn't keeping the cab cool.

After a full inspection, we found the evaporator completely plugged with dirt and debris, restricting airflow through the HVAC system. Even if the A/C is producing cold air, a clogged evaporator can keep that air from ever reaching the cab effectively.

Our technicians removed the evaporator, cleaned out the blockage, restored proper airflow, and got this Peterbilt back to blowing cold.

A healthy work/life balance is crucial for our community to thrive. For our employees to have the opportunity to spend more time with their families. For businesses to not burn out due to overworking employees. In these changing times, the need to refocus is now and at Diesel Works we are doing something about it.

Starting on September 11, 2023 we are officially changing our hours of operation in order to better serve our customers and our employees.

We realize this is different but at Diesel Works we do things a little different and believe in the power of taking care of our employees, customers, families, and community. Here is to a future of balance and prosperity.

Never a great day when you put DEF in your fuel tank. Fortunately the customer realized what they did before starting the truck and we were able to get the it fixed up and back on the road. Added a bottle of sentry afterwards for added protection.
