12/31/2025
We'd like to thank all of our customers for an amazing 2025. We are excited to move into 2026 but with some new ground rules in place.
Important Policy Update
This message is long overdue. Moving forward, we are implementing strict policies regarding all work, builds, and consultations. These changes are necessary to protect our customers, our business, and the quality of the work we deliver.
New Policies (Effective Immediately)
* We will not accept customer-supplied parts.
* Large quotes and consultations will no longer be free.
* Quotes will not include part numbers.
* We will not offer discounts, price matching, or attempt to compete with online parts vendors.
* All builds will be assembled using our preferred manufacturers and trusted components.
* We do not accept, repair, or modify work performed by other shops. All services must be completed in-house to ensure quality, safety, and warranty integrity.
Why These Policies Are Necessary
We have tried to remain flexible in the past, and it has consistently led to issues. Customer-supplied parts often result in:
* Incorrect or incompatible part numbers
* Counterfeit or low-quality components (eBay, Facebook Marketplace, etc.)
* Increased labor hours and higher costs for the customer
In nearly 99% of cases, customer-supplied parts do not work out—and ultimately cost both you and us more time, money, and frustration. It is not worth your money, and it is not a good use of our time.
The Value Behind Our Parts and Packages
We spend a majority of our day building cohesive parts packages tailored to the goals of each project. We test, compare, and work directly with manufacturers to determine what works and what doesn’t. When you work with us, you are paying for our experience, our R&D, and the relationships we’ve spent over a decade developing in this industry.
Regarding Price Shopping Using Our Quotes
We recently encountered a situation where a customer took our quote—including our part numbers and the package I carefully assembled—and forwarded it to an online vendor in an attempt to secure a lower price. They then came back asking us to match or beat that price. I’m not sure when this became considered acceptable, but the time spent preparing that quote is time I don’t get back—time away from my home and family, and time that could have been used to support other customers.
As a business, we have never priced above MSRP or MAP. We are a small company that supports multiple families, and our pricing reflects the value of our work and the service we provide. Our price is our price, and it is non-negotiable.
Our Trusted Brands
For over a decade, we have carefully chosen the manufacturers we trust for our builds. These will remain our standard moving forward. If you look across a vast number of our builds you will find a number of brands are consistent. Injector dynamics will always be in our fuel injector department. ARP for fasteners. Motec, Haltech, AEM for engine management. Radium for fuel systems. Precision for turbochargers, and many more.
Work From Other Shops
Over the years we’ve found that accepting work started by other shops often leads to complications that can impact quality, cost, and turnaround time. When we take on projects that were previously handled elsewhere, it becomes difficult to guarantee the condition of the parts, the methods previously used, or the accuracy of the prior work. This can create safety concerns, unexpected delays, and additional expenses for the customer and our shop.
To maintain the level of quality and accountability our customers expect, we require all projects to be completed in-house from start to finish. This allows us to stand behind our workmanship, honor our warranties, and ensure every job meets our standards. For these reasons, we are unable to accept or redo work performed by other shops.
How These Policies Benefit You
These updates allow us to:
* Guarantee the quality and compatibility of every component
* Offer warranties on both parts and labor
* Protect your vehicle from future failures
* Maintain workflow efficiency and minimize delays
* Avoid counterfeit or low-quality parts that cause major problems later
Customer Intake Going Forward
To ensure we are the right fit for one another, I will be interviewing new customers and projects on a case-by-case basis moving forward.
- Last note.....I can't believe I am saying this. If you go around us to our techs to get your car in faster for side work. You will not be returning to us as a customer.
