Pick pick pick away. Didn't have a whole lotta time after work today but got 2 pieces of pipe cut for the collectors, just need some new blades to cut the pipes back a bit to weld them in. Made a list of things to do yet and it's looking better and better.

Was checking for fuel prime with everything hooked up because I couldn't hear the fuel pump turning in. Decided to hit the key and barely even cracked. Fired up almost instantly. Still has open headers and a couple vacuum ports open so wasn't looking to run it long or at all. But it's getting fuel! Now to build some pipes off the headers, and check everything over for a longer start up.

On and off working on the 87 today. A handful of things left to do and more parts to pickup tomorrow to wrap it up. Alwa...

On and off working on the 87 today. A handful of things left to do and more parts to pickup tomorrow to wrap it up. Always the hard part, buying something that is stripped down and having to get all the sensors, brackets and trinkets to make it all work.

Transmission and transfer case are in, need 1 u joint and the shafts can be installed. Engine accessory brackets are on, just need to pickup a new alternator. Then I just need to install a section of exhaust to meet up with the headers and a map sensor/EGR bracket. Hopefully have it running by the end of the weekend. 🤞

Well new coil and ignition box in the blazer and still no start 🙄 step by step from Holley on what to check and if it isn't doing this is the coil. Replace and if it still doesn't work, it's the ignition box. Well 2 for 2 on those not being the issue. I'll be checking the hall sensor in the distributor when I get a chance. Still shows the rpm signal so I didn't think that would be the issue. We shall see.
