This lovely 2002, named Barney, was purchased in 1981 with around 105,000 miles. It was driven and loved for many years before it was tucked away in the garage. Barney spent the next 20 years waiting for the right moment, where nostalgia and love conspire with fate.

Barney's rotisserie restoration began in November 2011 and he went home in the spring of 2014, driving all the way from Michigan to Ohio. He was put right into service transporting his owners along the pastoral roads in Ohio’s Amish country as well as the dusty paths of memory lane.

This GTV was a gift to David's father Gerardo for his 60th birthday from his entire family. With help from Gerardo Jr. and Sr. we finished the car in May 2015. Gerry Sr. took the car to racing school at Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, where he did exceptionally well. While a brown vintage race car may cause a few purists to shake their heads, the Michele family thinks it is quite a gem.

This story is about a car who did not start life as Molly Brown, but was transformed into her. The process began with finding a car that was close to the same year and color as the original Molly Brown. After many months of searching the perfect candidate was located in Vermont. We began in the summer of 2011 and over the next four years each piece and part of the car was dismantled, stripped, welded, refinished, painted and put back together. Every piece of brightwork was re-chromed and the wood trim was restored. The headliner, seats and leather panels were all fabricated from scratch. All of the mechanical systems were restored and carefully re-installed. When it was all said and done the car was in better form than it was the day it rolled off the lot. The car became Molly Brown, and she was ready to start making new memories.

A few years ago we completed an exterior rolling restoration on this awesome 1972 Datsun 240Z. We were then asked to address all of the finer points. The original engine received a horsepower increase with a performance camshaft and pistons, a genuine Nissan Motorsport header and a hand made free flow exhaust. The suspension got a set of caster camber plates, adjustable coil overs on all four corners, a heavy sway bar up front and Tokico adjustable shocks. The wheels were upgraded from the "SupaNova" 14's to larger Panasports. While the engine was out of the way we refinished and painted the engine bay to match the body color. Among many other items the Fair Lady was fitted with a new old stock windshield to replace the scratched original, Datsun emblems on the front lower fenders, and new set of front and rear bumpers.
