"Why do I have an onboarding process before I ever turn a wrench?"
I occasionally get asked: "Why do I need to fill out a form and sign an authorization link? Other mechanics just show up."
Fair question. Here is why my process works the way it does:
I run a professional, structured business designed around transparency, clear expectations, and protection for both of us.
When you book service:
1. Intake Form: Captures your vehicle's exact details, service history, and symptoms so I arrive prepared with the right tooling and data.
2. Work Authorization: Legally approves the scope of work and diagnostic limits, ensuring full clarity on pricing and expectations upfront.
3. Confirmed Appointment: Once steps 1 and 2 are complete, your time slot is locked on the schedule.
**No paperwork = no confirmed appointment.**
I don't operate on loose handshakes or vague verbal agreements. A documented, digital workflow means:
○ Accurate service records and clear warranties you can actually trace.
○ No surprises, hidden fees, or scope creep.
○ A smooth, professional experience from initial diagnosis to the final handshake.
If you’re looking for someone to work by "handshake deals" unfortunately I'm not that person. But if you value clear communication, documented procedures, and top-tier professionalism, you're in the right place.
