So we have here, a THINKWARE Dash Cam U3000 Pro installed in a 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander. This camera not only fits great and is packed full of features, but it looks great in this car as well.

Second, is a FitcamX installed in a 2026 Porsche Cayenne Coupe GTS. This install turned out great as well. FitcamX integrates the camera in with the OEM plastics on the windshield. This makes for a very clean look. The caveat though with these is that it can be difficult to get the fir just right when you are mixing OEM plastics with an aftermarket system.

Install from this past weekend included this 2027 Kia K4 GT Line, a 2022 Hyundai Tucson and a THINKWARE Dash Cam U3000 Pro with the LTE module in a 2026 Lexus TX 350.
The LTE module is a fairly new offering from Thinkware, but I gotta say it is pretty cool. This gives the user the ability to view video remotely, set up geofences around your vehicle for motion detection and will send you notifications for impact or motion detection. Thinkware is also providing the first 3 years of basic service with the purchase of the LTE module. It is only supported by certain systems right now though.
Check the LTE module out along with your new dash cam.

Here we have a 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe that got a front and rear dash cam with an LCD screen, a 2024 Toyota Prius Hybrid that got a THINKWARE Dash Cam ARC with a 2.7" touchscreen installed and then a 2021 Toyota Corrola with a very interesting brand new 4 channel dash cam installation. The 4 channel in the Corrola is also a rear view mirror, but the owner is opting to not use that function. This is the reason it is mounted below the OEM rearview mirror.
It is summer time and more drivers are out there that may not be as careful and attentive as they should be. Get yourself a dash cam so you can have that video evidence if you need it.

So here we have a 2023 Kia Soul in which I installed a front and rear dash cam that also included a cabin dash cam. Pretty sleek cam. Also have a 2024 Chevy Equinox that got a THINKWARE Dash Cam Q200 front and rear dash cam installed. The tried and true Q200 is a great dash cam with plenty of features and an affordable price.

A couple more installs in the books. This 2026 Ford Explorer and 2018 Toyota RAV4 both got a THINKWARE Dash Cam Q200 installed.
The Q200 bundle included the front and rear dash cams, a GPS module, ADAS features, safety camera notifications and has the hardwiring included.

Well, I have not posted in quite a while. Certainly not because I have not been doing any installs. They have been getting done, and plenty of them. A THINKWARE Dash Cam U3000 with the iVolt battery in a Porsche 911, another dash cam in a Range Rover and I threw another Mercedes in the mix too. There are always the Hondas and Toyotas as well that get done.
Thinkware is having some great sales in quarter 2, so now is the time to get one installed in your car.

Well Sunday was quite the day for me. First, installed a THINKWARE Dash Cam U1000 Plus in a 2021 Toyota Rav4. This job was replacing a dash cam that had failed. Really glad it did too, and not because I had to put a new dash cam in for this customer. Because when I removed the old camera, I found that the previous install was done the wrong way and both the power and rear camera wires were tucked in and around the airbag. There are a number of things that can happen in an accident if there is anything in the way of an airback deployment, and none of them are good.
Next up, two vehicles for one customer. A 2021 Kia Seltos and a 2023 Hyundai Tucson got shiny new front and rear dash cams installed and all set up to record anything they might come across on their daily drives.

Installed a THINKWARE Dash Cam Q200 in this 2019 Honda Insight. Yep, installing a dash cam in a hybrid is just like a regular i eternal combustion engine car. There are some different setting within Thinkware cameras though for the hybrid vehicles.

Today was this 2021 Mazda 3 getting a Viofo front and rear dash cam. The trick to these new Mazdas is that the interior fuse block does not have switched power. This leaves you with really two options that do not require penetrating the interior/exterior barrier.
The simplest option is an OBDII power cable. The content of these though is that the camera does not go into a true parking mode. It stays powered for a defined amount of time, then powers off completely. The second option is splicing into a switched power source in the cars OEM wiring. This will allow the camera to utilize its parking monitoring as meant.
THINKWARE Dash Cam OBDII power wiring paired with a Thinkware dash cam will provide the proper switched power, allowing the true utilization of the camera's parking monitoring.

How about this front and rear dash cam installed in a 2017 Toyota Highlander. Another kind of unique Toyota install due to the rear window that can open. This required a mount bracket that attached to the tailgate upper trim so the rear window can open without disturbing the rear camera mounting.
