Robert Macherione’s passion for sports cars can be traced back to visiting the New York Auto Show every year with his father at a young age. Bob’s passion for sports cars led him to Phoenix Arizona where he quickly gained employment at a British car dealer. All matter of British and Italian sports cars have passed through his hands over the years. A skilled technician, Bob moved to Eugene, Oregon

in 1980 and worked for British Automotive until stepping out and forming Sports Car Shop in 1982. As it was difficult to find a group of technicians that could repair and restore sports cars with a high level of quality and passion, Sports Car Shop quickly grew and became recognized in the region. Sports Car Shop has now many years experience in British, Italian, and German sports cars, and continues to deliver high quality projects and cars. Sports Car Shop has evolved over the years starting in service, eventually adding restoration and sales.

At Sports Car Shop, Eugene's European repair specialist, we hold our work to the same standard the vehicles we service demand: precise, thorough, and never cut short. We're looking for a Master Technician who shares that approach.

This job offers:
✅ $50 per hour pay
✅ No weekends
✅ Heated and cooled shop
✅ Health insurance
✅ Continuing education
✅ Work on a wide variety of European vehicles

We’re looking for someone with:
🔧 Dealership or advanced shop background
🔧 Familiarity with many European makes and models; diesel a plus
🔧 Engine repair experience
🔧 Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignments, and powertrain repairs
🔧 Ability to explain technical issues to clients
🔧 Valid mechanic certifications or equivalent experience
