It's , and this week we're celebrating Bella! 🔧✨

Bella is one of our Technician Apprentices at our Springfield location, where she's been learning alongside Master Technician Kevin. If you know Kevin, you know he doesn't hand out compliments easily—which is why it meant so much to hear him say he's been "pretty impressed" with Bella's work.

From thorough vehicle inspections to consistently doing a great job on oil changes, Bella has been putting in the effort, asking questions, and building the skills that make great technicians.

At Sun Automotive, we believe people who are willing to learn deserve the opportunity to grow. Investing in the next generation of technicians is one of the best investments we can make, and Bella is a great example of why.

Today also marks Elias's one-year anniversary with Sun Automotive, and we're excited to recognize everything he's accomplished over the past year.

Since joining our team, Elias has continued to grow as a Technician while bringing a positive, team-first attitude to work every day. He's always willing to jump in, lend a hand, and do what's needed to help both his teammates and our customers.

Happy Birthday to one of the most recognizable members of the Sun Automotive team... Silas! 🐾🎉

If you've visited one of our locations, there's a good chance you've met him, received a friendly greeting, or spotted him getting pets from just about everyone. Over the last five years, Silas has become a favorite among both our employees and customers, and we're pretty sure he has more fans than the rest of us combined. (He's even featured on our team page on our website!)

Silas grew up "working" at Sun and still gets excited when the car pulls up to any of our four locations. Whether he's making the rounds, checking in on the team, or convincing people to stop what they're doing and give him attention, Silas brings a lot of smiles wherever he goes.

Whether it's a classic car, a complex diagnostic challenge, or something most people would rather avoid, Jeff is the guy who takes it on. This truck is a great example — Jeff has been involved in its repairs and custom upgrades for more than five years. His knowledge, experience, and willingness to tackle just about anything make him an incredible asset to our team and our customers.

Some vehicles are more than just vehicles. 🚗❤️

This one belongs to one of our Campus Technicians, Elgin, and getting it back on the road has been a labor of love. Elgin and his dad spent countless hours working on it together before he and his wife, Brooke, moved up from California to live in Eugene and join the Sun team.

After bringing it up from California, Brooke stepped in and tracked down a similar vehicle locally, allowing parts to be transferred and helping turn the project into a complete runner. Now it's up and running, and seeing it back on the road is pretty special.

We love seeing people find joy in their vehicles and having a front-row seat to stories like this. Congratulations, Brooke and Elgin — we love you guys!

Every summer, we help travelers who find themselves dealing with unexpected vehicle issues far from home. ( #7 is a big one).

We're always happy to help, but the reality is that vacation time is valuable. The last thing anyone wants to do is spend part of their trip searching for a repair shop, waiting on diagnostics, or adjusting plans because of a preventable vehicle problem. It can add a lot of unnecessary stress to what should be an enjoyable trip.

A little preparation before you leave can go a long way toward helping your trip stay focused on what matters: making memories, exploring new places, and getting there — and home — safely.

For those who don't know Craig, he is not only the Owner of Sun Automotive, but a father, husband, friend, mentor, and HUGE advocate for improving the reputation of the Automotive Repair Industry.
