We believe that our exquisitely designed and state-of-the-art 100-foot catamaran, the culmination of the joint efforts of Director of Design Jonas Hertwig and company co-owners Michael Reardon and Stefan M**f, is truly worthy of consideration for this award. It's a massive gratitude moment here at Daedalus Yachts following the announcement of this amazing grant!

We are very grateful for the opportunity to expand our factory along with our team. As they say, it takes a village, and this enormous vote of confidence will help to drive us further as we strive for excellence in our yachts, and our company.

A yacht is shown under construction at Daedalus Yachts in Edenton. The town of Edenton was awarded a $500,000 state grant on Thursday to help Daedalus renovate its 38,000-square-foot plant. State officials say the grant will help Daedalus create 50 new jobs.

It’s great to work with great people, and business partners like this are gold. Alain Janet of Solar Cloth System recently presented at the Superyacht Design Symposium in Cortina d’Ampezzo, and shared this great shot of the Daedalus 80 which will be utilizing Alain’s amazing solar cloth.
