Roush's 380R badge is a round-up. The supercharged 4.6 actually made 379 horsepower, a refinement of the earlier 360R rather than a clean-sheet build. The intercooled blower also moved the torque peak about 1,000 rpm lower than a stock GT's, so it pulls early instead of waiting for revs.

This one is a collector-grade example: black over dark charcoal leather, five-speed manual, believed-original supercharged V8, and 3,293 actual miles. It carries Roush serial #7396 and its original documentation. A New Edge icon that never got used up.

Plymouth coined the 'Cuda name for 1969, a performance package built around the 340 and 383. The wildest version arrived midyear, when Hurst/Campbell handled the work of fitting Mopar's 375-horse 440 into the compact A-body outside the assembly line. Only around 357 Barracudas were built that way.

This is one of those M-code cars, finished in F5 Limelight over green vinyl with the 727 automatic behind the big block. Its broadcast sheet still comes with it. Bias-ply tires, 6,906 miles believed actual, and a spec sheet that reads exactly like what it is.

2009 closed out the first run of the modern GT500. A year later SVT restyled the car and pushed it to 540 horsepower, which leaves the 500-hp original as its own distinct chapter. The supercharged 5.4 shared its architecture with the Ford GT's V8, though SVT specified a cast-iron block in place of the supercar's aluminum one.

This one is a drop-top in Ebony Black over black leather, backed by the six-speed manual and showing 12,561 actual miles. Brembo front brakes, GT500 wheels, and a Corsa exhaust to let the blower talk. Shelby certification comes with it.

Chevrolet gave the C10 two notable firsts for 1965: air conditioning appeared on the option sheet, and the 327 V8 joined a lineup that had long leaned on inline-sixes. Comfort and cubic inches showed up the same year. That's when the half-ton started turning into something people drove for fun.
