🎉 Congratulations to Cola, the 3,000th graduate of Caliber's Technician Apprentice Program (TAP)!

After nine years in the U.S. Navy, Cola wasn't just looking for her next job, she was looking for a career where she could put her hands-on skills to work in a new way. She found that opportunity after bringing her own vehicle to Caliber for repairs, which led her to Caliber's Changing Lanes program and then TAP.

"My mentors saw potential in me before I saw it in myself, and their encouragement helped me keep going," said Cola. "I'm doing work that I enjoy, I'm continuing to grow my skills, and I've found a career that I can build on."

Launched in 2022, TAP offers paid, hands-on training and one-on-one mentorship to help remove financial barriers to entering the skilled trades.

Cola's advice to fellow veterans and those considering a career in the trades: "There's no such thing as too much training. Stay humble, keep learning and don't be afraid to make mistakes."

The results are in! 🥫🏁

When we launched this year's Caliber Food Drive, our goal was to help provide 8.5 million meals. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our teammates, customers, partners and communities, we exceeded that goal and helped deliver an amazing 9.3 million meals to support individuals and families facing food insecurity nationwide.

This milestone is a testament to what can happen when people come together around a shared purpose. Through donations, volunteering, local initiatives or simply spreading the word, every contribution played a role in making this year's campaign a success.

A special thank you to our Hunger Heroes, Food Drive Ambassador Kylie Glick, and every teammate whose passion and dedication helped drive this effort forward.

We’re proud of Jaime Angell, Caliber’s Senior Director of Apprenticeships and Transitional Programs, for testifying before the U.S. House of Representatives on the importance of apprenticeships and skilled trades.

Jaime highlighted Caliber’s Technician Apprentice Program (TAP), which has graduated more than 3,000 apprentices since 2022 and our Changing Lanes programs for military members transitioning to civilian life. These graduates are building rewarding careers, supporting their families and helping meet the growing need for skilled technicians nationwide.

When people gain opportunities to learn valuable skills and earn a living wage, entire communities benefit, especially in areas where options may be limited by location.
