Trevor called. He said we fixed his friends truck and we needed to fix his. Trevors 2026 Toyota Tundra was parked minding its own business.... when a Ford F150 attacked! The F150 rolled down a hill and into Trevors brand new Tundra! This caused significant damage. It was towed into us and we got to work with USAA on it. We used all NEW GENUINE TOYOTA PARTS. Some shops use aftermarket cheap copies to follow along with what the insurance companies want. We dont use these cheap parts. We fix your vehicle right! This truck needed the entire radiator support replaced. We took care of it and made this truck new again. Thank you Trevor!

Back in November we got a call from Santa Clause! Santa had some hail damage on his sleigh and was having trouble getting the insurance company to cover the repairs. The insurance company was not in the spirit with this one and they kept denying damages. We said ho ho ho-old on a minute, we need to make this right! It took multiple in person inspections to finally get the insurance in the spirit. We got this beautiful 1955 Chevy Cameo looking right again for Santa. Michael called us. He owns something unique. His Superformance Cobra was in an accident. These cars are all fiberglass, and he needed someone specialized to repair the fiberglass body of this beautiful car. Luckily, he called the right place. And since he came to the right shop, he also had the right auto insurance. He was insured with Hagerty. And with these special cars, you need special insurance. Hagerty didn’t demand cutting corners. Hagerty agreed with our repair process and paid what we needed to do the job right! This means we repaired it back to original—just like new from Superformance! Thank you, Michael, for allowing our team to take care of this awesome car!

We are committed to doing the best repairs we can for you. We added more tools to our collection. We have added more aluminum repair tools from our friends at Pro Spot International Inc. Their tools are top of the line and will allow our techs to do more efficient work and better repairs than ever. We also picked up a Polyvance nitrogen plastic welder. This tool allows more plastic repair options and better repairs. These tools are awesome and we can't wait to use them on our next repairs.

Krisie came to us with collision damage from hitting a deer. This deer did a lot of damage to her beautiful Mazda. This Mazda is special because of the color. This is the infamous paint code 46G. This color is different than normal paint jobs. Normal paint jobs are primer, color, clear. The Mazda 46G is a special process. To achieve correct appearance and color match it consists of applying the correct shade of primer and then clear coating the primer. You then bake it to dry it. Now you have to re sand everything you just did with a very specific process. This sanding process ensures a perfect surface and it's extremely smooth. Now you go back in the booth! You then apply a transparent silver. This transparent silver is extremely fine and smooth appearance. Now it's transparent because the shade of primer underneath it gives it the correct shade of silver/grey. After applying the transparent silver and having the correct appearance you then clear coat it again! This is a very difficult color to match. And as you see our expert team did a amazing job at the repairs and paint work on this beautiful Mazda. Krisie is back to enjoying her baby again with it like new!!! ADAS (Advanced Drivers Assist Systems). These SAFETY systems are designed to help prevent accidents.

These systems included
LKAS Lane Keep Assist Systems (detects when you veer from your lane)

BSM Blind Spot Monitor(detects object in the vehicles blind spots)

Adaptive cruise control (this automatically adjusts your speed accordingly to the vehicles in front of you)

Emergency automatic braking (senses objects and prevents collisions by applying the brakes automatically)

Park assist(these sensors help detect objects when parking to help you avoid collisions)

These systems consist of cameras, long and short range radars, and other object sensors. When a shop performs work these systems are sometimes disconnected for the technician to do repairs. Or just replacing adjacent parts it can affect these systems. So part of a proper repair is the calibrations for these systems that will allow them to function correctly and ACCURATELY. Accuracy is the key here!!!! If these aren't calibrated accurately this can cause the systems to not detect objects as designed. Now this a is a major risk! Imagine going at highway speeds and you are in low light conditions. Then a vehicle has a breakdown in front of you and you don't see it. These systems can help. But if it's not calibrated correct will it???

This is why at Mysticz Auto Body we are passionate about safety. Every vehicle that comes in we determine what systems are installed. And from there we use Factory data on what is required for these calibrations. And we never skip these factory required procedures. Make sure the shop you choose follows these procedures! Your life is on the line of your shop is not calibrating! And guess what. Some of these shops that aren't are contracted shops by your insurance companies!!!! This is a major red flag on their end!!!

DRP are your insurance companies contracted shops.

Most shops do ADAS calibrations. Few do them profitably.

New benchmark: 86% of collision shops handle calibrations in-house, but only 21% have optimized operations.

The data: $21,500 average monthly revenue at 9% margins. Equipment costs $55,000 upfront, $19,000 yearly.

The safety concern: 61% of vehicles need calibration work. It shows up on only 36% of DRP estimates.
