Friesen CDJR launches new Husband-Free Shopping Experience in Clay Center
CLAY CENTER, Kan. — In a bold step toward a more peaceful car-buying experience, Friesen CDJR is proud to announce the launch of its new Husband-Free Shopping Experience.
Created with women in mind, this innovative new program allows customers to browse the lot in peace while trained dealership staff keep husbands safely occupied in a secure and comfortable on-site supervision area.
The Husband Holding Area will feature a variety of enrichment activities, including sitting in pickups they have no intention of buying, making “vroom vroom” noises in fast cars, kicking tires with great confidence and very little useful input, and staring at hood scoops like they are studying ancient artifacts.
According to dealership officials, the goal is simple: create a stress-free shopping experience without the usual distractions of a husband suddenly forming an emotional bond with a truck he saw for six seconds.
Amenities in the Husband Holding Area will include folding chairs, complimentary coffee, light beef jerky rations, weather-related conversation, and supervised opportunities to say things like, “They just don’t make ’em like they used to.”
Staff members have also been trained to redirect husbands who begin wandering toward high-horsepower vehicles, polished wheels, or anything with an exhaust note loud enough to make them feel 19 again.
Friesen CDJR believes the Husband-Free Shopping Experience will be a major step forward for the Clay Center community and for women everywhere who would simply like to look at a vehicle without hearing, “Now this is sharp.”
Before anyone drops their husband off at the front door with snacks and no plan to return, yes... April Fools.
