Here’s a tip for you 😳😳
Take 5 minutes if you care about your car — protect your wallet and save yourself some stress!
Because when your car is running just to survive in this cold, we’re already in trouble…
🚗 Tips to Take Care of Your Engine in Cold Weather
Use good-quality antifreeze (coolant):
Make sure your cooling system has the right mix — 50% coolant and 50% distilled water.
Quality coolant prevents the liquid from freezing inside the radiator or engine.
It also protects against internal corrosion and helps keep the engine temperature stable.
Check your coolant level regularly:
If it’s low or dirty (brownish color or residue), replace it.
In very cold climates, use special antifreeze that protects down to -35°C (-31°F) or lower.
Warm up the engine before driving:
Let it idle for 2 to 5 minutes before moving, especially if temperatures are below freezing.
This allows the oil to circulate and lubricate all parts of the engine before it starts working hard.
No need to leave it running too long (more than 10 minutes just wastes gas).
Avoid hard acceleration when it’s cold:
Drive gently until the engine reaches its normal temperature (around 90°C / 195°F).
This helps reduce engine wear and saves fuel.
⚠️ What Happens If You Don’t Do This
❄️ Without quality coolant:
The radiator fluid can freeze, expand, and crack the radiator or engine block.
The engine can overheat if coolant flow is blocked.
Rust and scale can form, lowering the system’s efficiency.
🔥 If you don’t warm up the engine:
The oil stays too thick and doesn’t lubricate properly.
It causes extra wear on pistons, valves, and bearings.
The engine works harder, burns more fuel, and produces more emissions.
🧊 Extra Tip:
If you live in a very cold area, consider using:
A block heater (electric engine heater).
Low-temperature motor oil, such as 5W-30 or 0W-20, depending on your car’s manual.

Are you a driver? Will you know how to answer me?😳😳😳
If you don't know, I'll teach you. My biggest concern is your car.

1- How often should you change the oil in your car's engine?

2- How often should you change the engine air filter?

3- How often should you change the cabin filter?

4- How often should you rotate your car's tires?

5- How often should you check your car's fluids?

How often should you put gas in your car, and what kind of gas should you use, and why?

How often should you vacuum the interior of your car and wash it?

I know you won't answer, either because you don't know or because you're embarrassed.
No one's going to bill you, and whoever does, it's because they don't know. Post your comment and we'll all learn.

704-554-6228 today A motor vehicle registered in North Carolina must pass an annual safety inspection before its registered owner can renew its vehicle registration. They can be conducted no more than 90 days before the license plate and registration expires. During a safety inspection, a licensed mechanic examines a vehicle's:

Headlights
Accessory lights
Directional signals
Foot brake
Parking brake
Steering
Windshield wipers
Tinted windows, if applicable
Motor vehicles registered in 48 North Carolina counties must also pass an emissions inspection, conducted at the same time as the safety inspection.

Failure to get a vehicle inspected by the due date will result in a vehicle's registration being blocked until the vehicle is inspected.

Exemptions
