This car was LOUD...... And not in a good way. I thought the heads and or block was bad just due to the noise it was making and how erratic the knock sensor data was. Replaced the "No tick" lifters with OEM lifters and Bam, here we go. Some, some BC cams DO require shims. Not just Delta regrinds. I could almost pull the rockers straight off without compressing the valve springs. BC cams are also notorious for being off centered out of the box so degreeing them is a must. They have been better the last few years after they dropped the 276 cams for various platforms but it's a good practice to check and degree them. I'm not even going to dive into the regrind cams I'll save that for another day. This car will be rocking and rolling soon and running stronger than ever and......Quieter!!

Subaru Legacy out here pumping out crazy numbers. On the quest to 1000whp. We were out of fuel and began to slip on the rollers. We'll be back soon with an upgraded fuel system and some track bite lol. Black Sheep Tuning on the keys Stewart Mauney aka "STEWTUNED" on IG, was the pilot and 2nd set of eyes on the keys as I recorded the videos. Haltech 2500 is the brain of this monster with a Next Gen Precision 7275 at the heart. 33psi netted us a nice 846whp on the final pull. Stay Tuned as this legacy will one of the few that has crossed the 1000whp barrier!!

R33 on Haltech Elite 2500. Custom harness, Borg Warner s3** turbo. Stock RB25, owner requested safe limits of the motor and great driveability. In stock form you have to more careful with the rb25 more than the rb26. In the meantime enjoy the sounds of a RB singing loud in Charlotte, NC.

From Winston to Charlotte, drove in on a Cobb tune left with a Flash ECU tune. Throwback turbo CBRD BBX full, slight upgrade from stock. Fun times!!

We're going to start turning away run down projects on some of these older cars. Cars that have sat for years without operation or with E in the fuel system etc. Cars missing full interiors (not race cars with 1 purpose) etc.

Not that they can't be fixed, as a consumer you need to understand it will get costly. It'll take time to fix, whether it's financial or searching for parts because everything is either discontinued or abused.

We've had too many run-ins with cars that practically need a full makeover or Respectfully need to be parted out that people want to keep on the road for cheap.

When the Business and Customer don't align with that agreement, especially an experienced business there's no hesitation to be fired as a customer..... Respectfully

Understand that there's no short cuts taken here, we've been around these older cars our entire lives SPECIFICALLY my DSM people.

It's NEVER "IT JUST NEEDS A TUNE."

If you think that's the case BlackSheepTuning isn't the shop for you!

R33 in for some Haltech tuning. This car had a Corrupted tune file on it that prevented the timing to follow its command and the fuel trims to not work correctly. After a not so smooth 6hrs going through the car I flashed a blank map on the car and BAM everything works. It'll be on the dyno this week. With this being a Stock RB25 we can't go too crazy, a modest 420-440whp is all it'll need.

One of my adopted kids has developed a rod knock. This car was buried and hasn't run since 2011. I fixed it up and "restored" it a bit and started driving it a good bit. Even though it'll be down the new heart will be full of goodies. Keeping it a 3.0 as I'm not a fan of the stroker motors this 2 bolt will be stout when finished. There's a few things I'm changing I'll document and show you guys. I'm excited.... Even more excited to have it "DONE."
