Did you know Legacy Automotive specializes in fleet maintenance? Don’t worry, you don’t need to have a fleet of vehicles to hang with us. We’re happy to take care of our everyday Joe Schmos too! Our one exception? If it’s bigger than a box truck, we’ll have to let someone else take the wheel on that one.

Anyways, let’s meet Hunter and his special helper Zeda!

🎓Graduated from Vinton-Shellsburg in 2017 (go Vikings!)

🔧Been with Legacy for 2 years

🦅🌎Spent 4 years in the Marine Corps

Likes: Crayons, driving his side-by-side, Cummins trucks

Dislikes: Restaurant ramen, mouth breathers, winter

When asked: “Would you rather fight 1 horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses?” He answered: One horse sized duck, because horses kick and i think i can take on a horse sized duck.

If you see Hunter, there’s a pretty good chance his fluffy sidekick, Zeda, isn’t too far behind! Zeda loves getting in on the action too-especially when there are cars to inspect, flashing lights to investigate, and absolutely zero shortage of butt scratches and pets. She takes her shop duties very seriously, but her real specialty is being adorable and accepting treats from anyone willing to provide them. Give us a call and ask for Hunter or stop by and say hi to Zeda (and maybe bring her a treat). She’ll be waiting!

As we wind down our 3rd year in business, we thought it was about time you got to know the people behind the cars, the coffee, and the occasional “Let’s see what that noise is...”
We’ve been incredibly grateful to get to know so many of you over the years, and now we want to return the favor! Over the next few weeks, we’ll be introducing you to the wonderful crew that makes Legacy Automotive what it is.

Because you’ve trusted us with your vehicles, questions, and sometimes your VERY interesting dashboard lights-the least we can do is put some faces to names.

Without further ado, meet Ben!

🎓Graduated from Kennedy High School in 2014 (go Cougars!)

🔧Been with Legacy since the beginning

Likes: his dog Boji, going to baseball games, traveling

Dislikes: left lane campers, Brussel sprouts, the Greenbay Packers

When asked: “If you were in a zombie apocalypse, what would be your weapon of choice and why?” He answered: Ak-47 for killing efficiency.

So the next time you call the shop or swing by, be sure to ask for Ben! He’ll get you taken care of and have you back on the road in no time. Just tell him we sent you-we promise he won’t hold it against us😉

CLOSING EARLY

Due to a sudden death in the family and incredibly cold temperatures over the next couple of days, Legacy Automotive will be closing early Thursday, January 22nd at 12pm and will be closed all day Friday, January 23rd. As you can see, the North Pole is busy working on the finishing touches. The big guy is needing an oil change and overall inspection before he makes his long road trip and we have to make sure his sleigh is in tip-top shape! With that being said, Legacy Automotive will be closing early December 24th at 12pm and closed December 25th-26th to help the elves get Santa ready. We want to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday!

As we head into the holidays, take a moment and reflect on everything you have to be thankful for. It could be the food on your table, the clothes on your back, the family/friends you have, or your trusty mechanic here at Legacy Automotive🙂 We are extremely thankful for our staff and want them to be able to spend time with their families, so we will be closed November 27th-28th. We want to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving! What are you thankful for this year??

As a Veteran owned and operated business, Legacy Automotive will be closed November 11th to honor those of the past, present, and future who protect our country. It takes a special person to make a commitment to their country the way these guys do. Sending out prayers to those still fighting and for their families waiting for their safe return.
