Modern Technology has come a long way, and while some of this tech been around a while, its availability and compatibility with other systems is not always instant. Today we begin our electronic wastegate testing on the 5.0 Coyote using a Mitsubishi/Honda Actuator along with the Garrett - Advancing Motion Turbochargers and FuelTech USA FT700 , these are common place on modern OEM Turbocharged vehicles and becoming more and more popular in Motorsports now and offer far more precise control and ultra fast reaction time, what does this mean for the Turbocharged Ford Coyote guys, the exact amount of boost you want, when you want it! Under the hood of MMR’s Twin Turbocharged 5.4 DOHC. The engine featured a 5.4 aluminum block with sleeves, Manley Pistons, Billet Crankshaft, GRP rods, ported supercar heads and MMR turbo cams topped of by a MMR sheetmetal manifold. This beast ran in the mid 6’s 1/4 mile over 15 years ago!!

What does the Worlds Fastest Ford Coyote built by MMR look like under the hood you ask? FEAST YOUR EYES! 10,000rpm, 4000+ Earth twisting HP send this Coyote Powered Ford Mustang down the 1/4 mile in just 5.6 seconds @ over 265 MPH! Motivated with 72psi from Garrett - Advancing Motion turbochargers into an MMR Billet Intake Manifold, down through MMR CNC Ported Factory Cast Cylinder heads with a pair of MMR Turbo Coyote Camshafts held in place by MMR Billet Cam Caps, and then MMR Valve springs and Titanium Valves turned by MMR's adjustable cam gears and Double Row Timing Chains. Once past the valves, all that boost pounds down onto the top of a Manley Performance Products, Inc. Pistons and then strong armed by the Bill Miller Engineering connecting rods through the Bryant Billet Steel Crankshaft held nicely in place by the MMR GenX Billet Block. All covered up by the MMR Billet Valve Covers, Billet Timing Cover, Billet Rear Seal Cover and Billet Oil Pan.

This carbon piece is perfect for those that have removed the carpet and want to clean up the driver floor area and provide a good, level surface to aid with performance driving including heel toe.
