The Summer Heat Series is done & dusted 💨🔥

HUGE congrats to our overall series winner, 9 Novice Kade Nunez Travis Robert Nunez, who earned the absolute maximum points (6 wins + all 10 race entry points with high rider count) and won himself a brand new Daylight Duster race frame!

And shoutout to our raffle winner, Rowan Givens Rowan “Gossip Girl” Givens, who also won herself a Duster frame by racing most of the series, which meant she had a lot of race entries in the raffle pot. We can’t wait to see Kade & Rowan ripping around the track on their new Dusters!

SUMMER HEAT SERIES FIANLE!

Join us tonight, Thursday August 27th, for the finale of our Summer Heat Series. We'll be giving out a DAYLIGHT DUSTER frame to the overall series winner along with prizes for our top 10 series finishers. We will also be drawing our Duster raffle winner -- remember, every race you've entered during the series has given you a raffle ticket. The raffle winner does not have to present to win, but it will be so much more fun if you are!

Disclaimer: IF the winner of the series is also pulled for the raffle, we will pull another ticket.

Tie breaker scenarios for the series overall:

1st tie breaker: Total Series Rider Count
2nd tie breaker: Head-to-Head / 7th–10th Best Series Finishes.
3rd tie breaker: Total 1st Place Moto Finishes
4th tie breaker: Total High-Place Moto Finishes (2nds, 3rds, etc.)

Last leaderboard update before our Summer Heat Series finale!!

Jackson Voake is our lone leader with 6 series wins and the maximum entry fee points. BUT Jackson Espersen and Kade
Nunez both have 5 series wins and the maximum entry fee points— if either of them win tomorrow to match Jackson Voake’s 6 series wins it’s going to come down to overall rider count as the tie breaker to determine our final top 3 👀

It’s going to be an epic final race of the series and TWO riders will be winning Daylight Cycle Co. Duster frames - the overall series winner and a random raffle winner. We will also be giving out prizes to the series overall top 10 and have a few more mystery moto prizes! Don’t miss the hottest race night of the year be there tomorrow, Thursday August 27th!

Time to ride with Coach Eric Rupe for his Wednesday clinics at Freedom Park BMX — riders work on gate starts, race strategies, jumping, manualing, and passing all while building confidence on & off the bike. All riders welcome!

Novices: 4:30-5:30PM, $20 cash only.

Intermediates & Experts: 5:30-7:30PM, $35 cash only.

All riders must have a valid USA BMX membership to ride in the Wednesday clinics.

LAST WEEK OF THE SUMMER HEAT SERIES 🔥

Only 2 more races — that means we’re only a few days away from two riders walking away with their very own Daylight Duster frame!

The top 10 overall has had quite the mixup after last week, especially the top 5 with Clay Gonzales grabbing his 4th win of the series and moving into 3rd overall.

Beginner lesson: 4-5pm, $20/rider. Includes open track after the lesson.

Open track practice: 5-7pm, $15/rider.

Riders need their own bike in good working condition, closed toed shoes, and a helmet. No training wheels, pegs, or e-bikes.

Thursday night racing with Summer Heat Series race 8 of 10 🔥

The summer heat series continues tonight with Tuesday racing and we officially have a tie at the top of our leaderboard! Both Jackson Espersen and Jackson Voake have 670 points (4 wins, 2nd, 3rd), with Jackson Espersen maintaining the tie breaker (rider count) by just 3 riders! We also have a shake up in the last few spots with Makenna Jacquet getting back into the top 10 and Koa Lopez breaking through the top 10 for the first time this series with his consistent racing and podium finishes.

Can’t wait to see how the last 2 weeks of the series pan out. See you at the track!

Time to catch some air & take flight at Freedom Park BMX! Join us for beginner lesson & open track practice today during the Wings Over Camarillo Airshow, happening at the Camarillo airport right next to the track! ✈️

Please allow yourself extra time to get to the track and find parking due to increased airshow traffic. Street parking in front of the track is free. You do not need to pay to park in one of the airshow lots to access the track.

Beginner lesson: 4-5pm, $20/rider. Includes open track after the lesson.

Open track practice: 5-7pm, $15/rider.
