High Ground Conversions is known for the RTR Type II ambulance built on the Ford Transit platform. At EMS World, we are ready to show you what comes next.

We will officially debut a new ambulance design created through superior design, smarter engineering, and a clear understanding of what EMS crews need.

We cannot reveal everything just yet, so follow High Ground Conversions for updates as we get closer.

Climate control is not just about comfort. It is part of keeping an ambulance ready for the next call.

The RTR Type II uses an independent SDG AiRMAX system designed specifically for the patient compartment.

It delivers:

✅ 40,000 BTU of cooling
✅ 70,000 BTU of heat
✅ More than 600 CFM of airflow
✅ Operation independent of the OEM climate system

During AMD 023 pull-down testing, the system reduced the patient-compartment temperature from 100°F to 65°F in approximately 7 to 11 minutes.

It is one more example of how the RTR is engineered around the real conditions crews and patients experience.
