We are currently looking for an 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 to join our team in Elkhart, IN. The Assembly 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 is responsible for being a part of the production team who builds assemblies according to written and verbal instructions as per required specifications. Must be a quality focused and a team player.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 5:00 am - 3:00 pm
𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬
*Assembles ACTIA product
*Cleans, organizes and maintains work area
*Reads and comprehends CAD drawings (aka: Blueprints)
*Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
*Collaborates with other members of the gauge team
*Supports manufacturing activities in other departments, including proper documentation
*Ensure legal compliance with state, federal and OSHA requirements
*Ensure ISO procedures are followed
*Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
*Movement - This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and on the production floor. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
*Operate/Use - Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e. copier, printer, calculator)
Ascend/Descend - Rarely ascends/descends stairs to reach archived files
*Communicate - This position frequently communicates with co-workers, managers and supervisors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
*Transport - This position frequently lifts or moves 25 pounds, occasionally moves up to 50 pounds for various needs.
*Work Environment - Relatively quiet but fast paced.
*Overtime - May be required to work overtime and/or some Saturdays with little to no notice to meet production demands.
Requirements
𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
*High School Diploma or GED, preferred
*Detail orientated
**Experience with electronics assembly a plus
Knowledge of soldering a plus
*Knowledge of use in basic hand tools and measuring devices
*Ability to read CAD drawings (aka: Blueprints)
*Knowledge of basic measuring equipment
