For a fall experience beyond the usual trail, spend an afternoon at Madison Buffalo Jump State Park near Three Forks.

Bring a picnic, hike to the top of the limestone cliff, and take in the sweeping views of the Madison River Valley. Along the way, interpretive displays share the history of the Native peoples who used this significant site for generations.

It’s a beautiful place to enjoy the outdoors while learning more about Montana’s history.
