WE ARE HIRING - FT Diesel Mechanics (weekends off/full benefits)
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on diesel mechanic to join our team in the beautiful Gallatin Valley area. We have specialized in preventative maintenance and quality repairs for over 25 years.
We are looking for a reliable individual with a mechanical background who is self-motivated, able to work under direction, has excellent communication skills, can approach problems with a positive attitude, and work independently.
Job Description and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preventative maintenance on heavy –medium duty diesel truck and trailers, motor homes and buses.
Maintenance on brakes, differentials, transmissions, electrical systems, abs systems, and a/c systems.
Perform electrical diagnostics, basic welding, inspect and repair brakes, and general shop maintenance.
Requirements:
2-3 years on the job experience and or education equivalent with heavy duty diesel trucks (semis/tractor truck, trailers).
Must obtain own tools and proficiency with maintenance and repair tools, equipment and basic knowledge of shop safety.
Be physically able to work overhead for long periods, kneel, climb or lay under trucks repeatedly.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
