New Vehicles Wanted For Development!

Our engineering team is looking for three different vehicles for testing/development usage. These vehicles will be used to ensure our products will fit, and then used to build custom tunes if applicable. If your vehicle is used, you will receive a free Dynojet tuning device, and custom tune.

Vehicles needed are:

-2026 Honda Pioneer 1000
-2026 KTM 1390 Super Duke
-2024 and newer Honda Grom or Monkey

"What do you look for to verify a vehicle has been tuned properly?"

It's huge and open-ended, so split it into what you can feel and what you have to dig for.

Surface level: does it work well for you? Does it start cold and start warm? Run cleanly down the road without bucking? Pull to the RPM you expect instead of signing off at 3,000 when you wanted 12? Shooting flames out the exhaust on decel is a red flag. Can it hold a clean throttle transition and just go smooth instead of bogging, stuttering, or making weird noises on and off the gas?

Then there's economy, still very much a thing when gas is this expensive. If a mild build dropped you from 30 mpg to 20 with no added displacement or turbo, something's off. Maybe the narrowband sensors got switched off when they should still be active, so you're cruising in the elevens, burning fuel to burn fuel, when you should be near stoich.

But all of that is surface level.

Real verification means opening the actual tuned file. We can't count the times a bike rolled in "already tuned," we opened it, and went "I'd never have tuned it this way."

Classic case: someone who doesn't know how to tune VE just bumps the injector size to force-add fuel — a bastardization of the table. Or they zero out timing tables to dodge the ECU's logic paths, even though those tables have real benefits for edge cases like partial throttle.

A proper tune respects the architecture and works through every table the way the ECU intended. Want it done right the first time? That's what our tools and tunes are built for.
