Often, yes.

Our mobile setup allows us to perform recalibration on many vehicles away from the shop. The exact procedure depends on the vehicle and the conditions required for that calibration.

If it needs the shop, we’ll say so. If we can bring the whole job to you, even better.

He had work to do.
So did we.
Windshield replaced in the parking lot while our customer stayed inside and got on with his day.
Some days the shop makes sense. Other days, bringing the shop to you makes more sense.
This was one of those days.

Colorado's getting back to its fall hobbies.
If you've already got a chip in your windshield, these temperature swings aren't doing it any favors. Glass expands and contracts as the temperature changes, and existing damage can spread.

Small chip today beats long crack tomorrow.

If one windshield quote is noticeably cheaper than another, ask one question:

Does that include the required ADAS recalibration?

On newer vehicles, the glass itself may only be part of the job.

We look up the vehicle before quoting so we can determine what windshield it needs and whether recalibration is required.

A low number isn’t particularly helpful if there’s another appointment and another bill waiting behind it.
