Definitely something to think about when installing water tanks.

Having water tanks close to your house might be convenient... until it's not.

Water tanks can be a good source of water for firefighters if they're in the right place. We provide free advice on where to put your water tanks that is useful for you and us.

The drains work alot better when they are clean. These run on front of the roller doors and were full of sludge.

You may have seen me on the side of the road lately, (not broken down) but redoing these fire season signs so they all look the same. Some needed a full re build.

These are dotted all around the Tasman region.

Part 2 - Today we installed the signage - installed fittings - added some site safety additions to assist trucks extracting water.
Just the fill up to go.
A huge shout out to our project partners Lions Club Richmond Tasman NZ , Richmond - Motueka - Nelson Lioness & Eggers Limited for their assistance.

Building wash down in Seddon today. 🌞

Autumn is a strategic time for damage control before winter, helping to remove the build up that can lead to mould.

By dissolving the dirt, grime and other contaminants leaving a cleaner home or building and controlling the moss, mould and lichen that can build up on your roof. Not an instant fix but one that you will see great results from. This is a process that can be repeated annually.

Water tank clean. This one had 4 dead black birds 🐦‍⬛ in it.
This is another reason to regularly check your water tanks.

Something a little bit different this week,
cleaning the walls and roof of a very large caravan.
It's quite important to keep caravan roofs clean from moss mould and lichen, this can deteriorate the roof and silicon used to seal vents etc. There was quite a bit of debris under the solar panels as well.

Looking much better now. 👍
