When did you last think about your wipers? 💦

Exactly. Nobody does, right up until you're mid-downpour on the expressway and they're smearing more than they're clearing. 😬

Here's Dave fitting a fresh set, and it's one of those quick, cheap jobs that makes a genuine difference. Worn wipers streak, squeak and leave you squinting through the rain, which is the last thing you want in a proper Taranaki downpour. New ones? Clear view, no drama.

Dave heard a mysterious sound and would NOT rest until he found the source. 🔍

Under the bonnet? Checked. Hanging out the window? Checked. Halfway into the boot? Checked. Sitting in the engine bay like a confused cat? Absolutely checked.

Turns out... it was the alarm on his phone. 📱😂

In his defence, we DO take weird noises seriously, that's kind of our thing. This one just happened to be an inside job. 🫠

What we do (which is quite a lot, actually if you must know). 🔧

Not sure if we handle your car's problem? Chances are, we do.

Ah, the classic pre-visit repair. You put a bit of tape here, a zip tie there, a hopeful pat on the bonnet and off you go. 😅

Look, we admire the effort. Genuinely. But orange tape isn't quite a torque wrench, and there's a solid chance the "fix" is now part of the problem.

Do yourself a favour, skip the arts and crafts and bring it straight to us. We'll sort it properly the first time (and we promise not to judge... much). 👀

Ollie's doing some work experience with us while he studies Automotive Engineering Level 3 at WITT, and he's already proving himself a great addition to the team. It's awesome having someone keen to learn coming through, and we love supporting the next generation of local mechanics.
