Myth: a hose from the hardware shop will do the job.
Truth: good hose matters and this is not the place to cut costs.
Hardware store hose is made for water in the garden, not fuel, oil and heat in an engine bay. Run the wrong hose on fuel and it breaks down from the inside, goes soft and starts weeping fuel onto a hot motor. Get it wrong on an oil line and it can cost you the engine. You pay for quality, pay once buy once.
Not sure what hose or fittings your build needs, just ask. I’d rather you get it right the first time.
