A big congrats to Binod in our refinishing division who recieved his MITO New Zealand Level 3 Certificate in Collision Repair and Refinishing .

He's well on his way to finishing his Level 4 too !

Great day today at CCR , On monday we switched back to PPG paint for all of our refinishing products.
Part of the changeover was CCR purchasing the PPG Moonwalk automatic mixing machine. It was in today and made its first colour.
It's a large investment but ensures accuracy when making colours and looks pretty cool!
Im looking forward to putting it through its paces

A pretty cool milestone for two of our apprentices at CCR, Both of them passed their I-Car mig welding certificate in thier first attempt , which is no mean feat!

It is a practical test where they must perform a series of industry standard welds and then have them destruction tested to ensure adequate weld strength .

Another two brand new Tesla Model Y's delivered today to their new owners today by the team at CCR , The blue ones a 5 seater and we also handed over another white 6 seater Model Y L .

That makes around 10 ish in the last 3 weeks !

Quite a cool article about the Forthing Taikon. It's certainly a affordable entry level option for a full ev or hybrid family car. The range extended ev or REEV has a range of almost 1000 kms per tank of petrol and an awesome 180 kms of full ev range.

Let's be honest, if you mention Forthing at a barbecue and you'll probably be met with blank stares, followed by someone asking if it's a new ...
