Doing an engine swap out on a LS460 at the moment so taking the opportunity to scan the engine and engine bay for a future header build. First thing that really stands out is the lack of space, I don’t know how it’s possible but it looks even worse than what’s available in the ISF… this will be a challenge when the time comes.

Fresh set of ELATE ISF headers installed into Jordan’s 2013 ISF and sounding awesome paired with an X-Force exhaust. Dyno runs came in at a comfortable 383whp @ 6,100rpm. .nz

Now that the first batch of ELATE RHD ISF headers have started to ship with the remaining pairs leaving the shop this coming week it’s time to lock in the next batch!

Pre-orders will open tomorrow, Saturday 09/06/26 @ 7pm NZST (we are no longer in daylight savings time) for 48 hours and have increased availability to 15 pairs. This hopefully works better for customers in Australia and the UK .

It’s been quite the road to get to this point but stoked to say the first batch of RHD ISF headers are nearing completion and will start shipping in the next few days. The next preorder release will be happening this coming weekend, time TBC. Available raw or with a high performance ceramic coating .

It’s been a while since I’ve worked on a new product for the 1UZ non-VVTi engine, but there’s one thing I’ve been wanting to address for a long time—and I’ve finally had the chance to do it.

A lot of USDM owners have run into clearance issues with the inlet/outlet fittings on intercooled manifolds clashing with the heater core outlet. With new OEM crossovers no longer available, and JDM ones now nearly impossible to find, it’s become a real limiting factor in owners moving forward with an intercooled setup.

Enter the ELATE crossovers—designed with outlet port placement similar to the JDM units, solving that clearance issue the easy way. Note that there are no provisions for any emissions related components on these crossovers so they may not work for everyone.

These will be available on the ELATE website over the next week or so.

Good progress being made with the first batch of RHD headers after sorting a good workflow. The initial assembly is just about complete then finish welding to follow and finally off for ceramic coating for those that have requested it. The plan is to start shipping raw units from week of the 20th April. Next drop date be announced this week.

The past three years have been huge for ELATE.

What started back in 2014 as a side project—supercharging a 1UZ Hiace—has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined. We’ve since developed and released the first positive displacement supercharger kits for the ISF, RCF, and GSF, with the IS500 not far off.

The LC500 has always been a dream platform for us, so bringing a kit to life for it is a massive milestone. We may not have been the first to put a blower on one—but we’ve done it properly, and we’re proud of that.

None of this would be possible without the people behind it—our customers who trusted us with their cars, the installers providing real-world feedback, and the tuners pushing these setups to their full potential.

What’s next:
LC500 kits releasing next
IS500 shortly after
LS460-specific kits (long overdue)
And, due to demand, 2GR development underway

We’re only just getting started.
