Race week is here. 🏁

KartStars Round 4 heads to Hamilton this weekend, 18–20 September.

Three rounds are already in the books, and with only Hamilton and the Hawke’s Bay finale remaining, the 2026 season is heading into its final stretch.

Racer Products is proud to be supporting the series and the next generation of New Zealand racers taking to the track.

When the rain arrives, the racing doesn’t stop.

Wet conditions bring a different set of challenges, and having the right gear means one less thing to think about behind the wheel.

The OMP RAIN-K is designed specifically for wet-weather karting, combining a lightweight transparent construction with sealed seams, waterproof zip protection and secure wrist and ankle closures.

The OMP RAIN-K Wet Weather Suit is purpose-built for wet race conditions, using tough 0.15mm transparent material to help keep drivers dry while still allowing the race suit and sponsor branding underneath to remain visible.

Built for the days when the track doesn’t stay dry.

The OMP RAIN-K is a purpose-built karting oversuit designed to help keep drivers dry and comfortable in wet conditions.

It uses tough 0.15 mm transparent material, heat-welded and taped seals, a waterproof front zip and closures designed to help prevent water getting in.

And because it’s transparent, your race suit and sponsor branding remain visible underneath.

Three things worth checking before you head out in the rain:

1. Seals and closures
Check around your zip, wrists and ankles. Keeping water out starts with the areas most exposed to ingress.

2. Freedom of movement
Wet-weather gear still needs to let you move comfortably behind the wheel.

Three rounds down. Two to go. 🏁

Racer Products is proud to partner with KartSport New Zealand in support of the 2026 Hampton Downs NZ Racing Academy KartStars Series.

After rounds in Blenheim, Manawatu and Rotorua, the series now heads towards its final two stops:

Hamilton — 18–20 September
Hawke’s Bay — 23–25 October

The Hawke’s Bay finale also brings the KartSport New Zealand North Island Sprint Championships.

Karting is where so many motorsport journeys begin, and we’re proud to be backing the racers developing their craft on the track.
