Another busy week at The Lost Socket.

The workshop has been full, the tools have barely cooled down, and the team has been cracking on with services, repairs, diagnostics and the usual mix of “quick jobs” that somehow become less quick once the car starts telling its side of the story.

A big thank you, as always, to our customers for keeping us busy and trusting us with your vehicles. It genuinely means a lot to a small independent garage like ours.

We’re heading into the bank holiday weekend grateful, slightly tired, and ready for a breather.

Wishing everyone a peaceful and enjoyable bank holiday weekend.

A seriously good turnout, a brilliant mix of cars, coffee, beautiful sunshine and the sort of easy conversation that reminds you why events like this matter.

Today our mechanics have been hard at work finishing a job for one of our customers. This Evoque came into the workshop with a few issues holding it back. Our mechanics got it sorted with:

✅ New front wheel bearing
✅ Fresh glow plugs
✅ Replacement mass air flow sensor

Now it’s running smoother, more reliable, and ready for the road again. 💪
