Job opportunity - MOT tester

Lambsdons is a very busy independent garage situated on Heathcote Industrial Estate at the border of Warwick and Leamington Spa. We carry out MOT, servicing and repairs to a wide range of cars and light commercial vehicles both privately and fleet owned.

We have a vacancy for an experienced MOT Tester for Class 4, 5 and 7 vehicles. The role would include carrying out periodic safety checks (typically on an eight week cycle) on 16 seater mini-buses.

The hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm with overtime by agreement if required. Rate of pay is competitive and dependant on experience.

• Taking work bookings and scheduling in the workshop diary using Autoworks garage management system.
• Producing estimates and invoices.
• Parts procurement and management.
• Workshop liaison to support the above and progress chase.
• Customer liaison.

Hours of Work: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. 40hrs/week
Overtime: If required by arrangement.
Holidays: 28 days/annum.
Salary: To be negotiated.
Pension: NEST voluntary pension scheme.
