Vastec Limited is a well-established VAG Group independent vehicle repair centre, and we’re looking for a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team.

📍 Location: Warwick
⏰ Hours: Full-time
💷 Pay: Competitive salary (based on experience)

Key responsibilities:
🔧 Booking vehicles in and greeting customers
🔧 Advising on servicing, repairs, and maintenance
🔧 Preparing estimates and authorising work
🔧 Ordering required parts
🔧 Liaising between customers and technicians
🔧 Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process
🔧 Preparing invoices
🔧 Delivering excellent customer service

What we’re looking for:
✅ Previous Service Advisor experience (automotive industry) preferred
✅ VAG vehicle knowledge (VW, Audi, SEAT, Škoda) preferred
✅ Basic vehicle knowledge and ability to upsell ethically
✅ Strong communication and organisational skills
✅ Professional, confident, and customer-focused
✅ Full UK driving licence preferred

Vastec is a German Car Specialist based in Warwick. We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor who is focused on best practice and able to fit into a team quickly.

This Service Advisor role

Requires seeing 10-15 customers per day, you will be the main point of contact and be able to keep the customer up to date during the progress of their work.
Once invoiced you will hand the vehicle back and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
The best Service Advisors are able to multi task and lead the customer through the work carried out. Ensuring any issues or queries are dealt with swiftly and professionally.

Skills required

• Previous Service Advisor experience is a must
• Organised and professional
• Ability to upsell
• Ability to work in a fast passed environment
• A full UK Driving licence.
• Excellent listening and communication skills

The Role

• Taking receipt of vehicles advising customers in person or by telephone, making initial diagnoses, writing orders for repair work, monitoring the repair process, taking receipt of repaired vehicles and handing them over to customers.

• Ensuring the workshop is working to full capacity by effectively scheduling customer orders.

• Taking receipt of vehicles to be put through maintenance and keeping customers informed of the status of their vehicle.

• Giving comprehensive technical advice on the extent of work to be done and, if necessary, providing a cost estimate for repair work

• Providing advice by telephone and making bookings
