Alloys cleaned and dressed with tyres shine with a brush.

🚗✨ 1989 Austin Mini Sky Rose – Multi-Stage Paint Correction & Full Detail ✨🚗

This stunning and increasingly rare 1989 Austin Mini Sky Rose visited us for a full paint correction and interior valet ahead of its appearance at the Barry Festival of Transport this Sunday.

Years of light swirl marks, oxidation, and paint imperfections had dulled the finish, so a comprehensive three-stage machine polishing process was carried out to safely restore gloss, depth, and clarity to the original paintwork.

🔹 Menzerna 1000 Heavy Cut Compound
The first stage focused on removing deeper defects, oxidation, swirl marks, and surface imperfections. This aggressive cutting compound levels the paint safely, creating the foundation for a flawless finish.

🔹 Menzerna 2500 Medium Cut Polish
The second stage refined the finish left by the heavy cut compound, removing any light haze and further enhancing paint clarity while restoring richness and depth to the colour.

🔹 Menzerna 3800 Super Finish Polish
The final finishing stage maximised gloss and reflection, producing a deep, mirror-like shine and bringing out the full character of this classic Mini's paintwork.

To protect the freshly corrected finish, the vehicle was treated with Soft99 Fusso Coat, providing up to 12 months of durable paint protection. This high-performance sealant creates a hydrophobic barrier that helps repel water, dirt, road grime, and environmental contaminants while maintaining a high-gloss finish for months to come.

🧼 The interior also received a full valet, with carpets, trim, glass, and all interior surfaces thoroughly cleaned and refreshed, ensuring the Mini is show-ready inside and out.

The transformation has completely revitalised this classic Sky Rose, restoring the shine and depth that a vehicle of this calibre deserves.

We'd like to thank the owner for trusting us with such a special piece of British motoring history and wish them the very best of luck at the Barry Festival of Transport this weekend.

This stunning 2025 Land Rover Defender 90 Commercial received a complete multi-stage paint correction and full interior detail to restore maximum gloss, clarity, and protection.

🔹 Stage 1 – Menzerna Heavy Cut 400
The process began with Menzerna 400 Heavy Cut Compound, designed to safely remove deeper swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation, and paint imperfections. This cutting stage significantly improved the paintwork by restoring clarity and reducing defects.

🔹 Stage 2 – Menzerna Medium Cut 2500
Next, Menzerna 2500 Medium Cut Polish was used to refine the finish after compounding. This stage removes any light haze left from the cutting process while further enhancing gloss and paint depth.

🔹 Stage 3 – Menzerna Super Finish 3800
The final polishing stage was completed using Menzerna 3800 Finish Polish. This ultra-fine finishing polish delivers exceptional gloss, depth, and reflection, creating a deep mirror-like finish while maximising paint clarity.

🛡️ Protection – Fusso Coat
To lock in the results, the vehicle was protected with Fusso Coat, providing up to 12 months of durable paint protection. This highly regarded sealant offers outstanding water repellency, UV protection, resistance against environmental contaminants, and helps keep the vehicle cleaner for longer.

🧼 Full Interior & Rear Commercial Area Detail
The interior cab and rear commercial compartment were thoroughly detailed, including:
✔ Deep vacuuming
✔ Cleaning and sanitising of all surfaces
✔ Dashboard, door cards and trim restoration
✔ Glass cleaned inside and out
✔ Rear load area cleaned and refreshed
✔ Finishing touches to leave the vehicle looking and feeling showroom fresh
