A reminder to all ours members to ensure you arrive BEFORE 9AM Sunday for this weekends race meeting as the access road will be closed from 9AM for the half marathon event. Do not be late and leave yourself plenty time to avoid disappointment!

We are also looking for volunteers to help with the track works on Saturday. Contact a member of the committee if you require further details.

Got quite a bit done today but low numbers turning up to help means we are still not quite there yet 😕

Was also a bit warm to be doing work outside 😰

Work underway on some off-road track upgrades today 😁

We are looking for help tomorrow to get the Astro moved to the new pitting area, if you could spare some time please let us know. 👍

When finished we will have a nice 37 metre straight!

Who is all racing this weekend?

If you aren’t booked in for the GP this weekend then you are at risk of potentially missing a great weekend of RC Racing!

We are looking for support from racers to make this event a success. We were hoping to build on the success of previous years however we currently don’t have enough interest to have a full heat of any of the 4 available classes. We expect some last minute bookings but we urge you to get booked in sooner rather than later!

Saturday will be a whole day of timed practice where you will have the use of the entire facility to test and tune as much as you want before a full days racing on Sunday.

This weekend is our GP weekend at SDRCC.

Remember to get booked in at sdrcc.co.uk

We will have the BBQ available to be used on the Saturday for those who want to use it and cook their own food.

We would also encourage members to invite people along for an introduction to RC racing between 1-2PM.

On Saturday both tracks will be open with live timing. Sunday we will have the usual racing with prizes on offer and the raffle will be drawn with prizes from MB Models, SpeedRC and Schumacher.

We hope to see as many people attend as possible and make the meeting a success.
