Some things don't need a combustion engine to have a heartbeat. 💙
In 1955, the year Jean Rédélé first put the Alpine badge on a car and chased one idea: light, agile, built purely for the joy of driving.
Seventy years on, that idea just went electric. The A290 is the first car in Alpine's all-electric "Dream Garage" and it borrows everything that made the A110 special; the compactness, the balance, the feel. Then adds a party trick straight out of motorsport: a red OV button on the wheel that unlocks a 10-second power surge whenever you need it most.
0–62mph in 6.4 seconds. A category everyone thought was gone, the hot hatch, reborn with a plug. ⚡
