Not judging anyone here.

But blue callipers and flaking black wheels weren’t going to help with the asking price. 😄

The owner was selling and had a different vision in mind. Specifically one that didn’t involve explaining the colour choices to every potential buyer.

Wheels refurbished back to silver. Callipers painted black. Rusty sill repaired and sorted.

“It needs replacing.”

Two words that can turn a straightforward repair into an expensive parts hunt and a long wait.

This textured wheel arch came to us after the owner had already been turned away elsewhere. Told replacement was the only option.

It wasn’t. 😄

The scuffs were minor. The repair was straightforward. The finish matched perfectly.

That’s the thing about SMART repair — knowing what can actually be fixed properly versus what genuinely needs replacing is half the job.

This one just needed someone who knew what they were doing. 👌

This Ford Kuga was parked. Minding its own business. Going absolutely nowhere.

Then a teenage boy on an e-scooter had other ideas.

The result… a decent dent in the boot and some fresh scuffs on the bumper.

The e-scooter rider is fine by the way. Physically at least. The ego will take a bit longer. 😄

Every previous owner’s decision suddenly becomes your problem to sort. 😄

This Ford Fiesta came in with a cracked front bumper and a fog light that had clearly had a disagreement with its clips at some point and lost.

New owner. Fresh start. Sorted properly. ✅

Because nobody wants to spend the first few weeks of car ownership staring at something that isn’t right.

Some cars come in for one thing.

Some come in for a bit of everything. 😄

This Citroen C3 had been with its owner for a few years and had picked up the usual collection of life along the way.

A dent in the quarter panel. A damaged plastic wheel arch. A couple of bumper scuffs.

Nothing that happened overnight, just the kind of thing that builds up gradually until one day you actually look at it and think… “right, that needs sorting.”

That day came. We sorted it. ✅

Sometimes a car just needs a tidy up. That’s what we’re here for.

Nobody thinks about the end of their P*P when they’re signing for the car.

Three years later it’s a different story. 😄

This Volkswagen Golf had picked up the usual battle scars, chips and scratches across the middle of the bumper from loading, and a boot lid that had taken a few knocks along the top.

Nothing unusual. Nothing dramatic. Just three years of real life.

The finance company though? They don’t really do real life. They do invoices.

Sorted before it got to that stage. Bumper repaired. Boot dents gone. Handed back clean.

A small investment now versus a nasty surprise later. Every time.

Back again on a Sunday with another one that made us smile. 😀

This one came from the Abarth 500 job we posted about recently and it was a case of putting right what someone else had done badly.

Getting that mirror finish where there was once something resembling a frosted window is extra satisfying 👌🏼
