Full time mechanic/mot tester wanted

We are looking for a highly experienced motor vehicle mechanics to join our family run garage

The successful applicant will be competent in all aspects of servicing & repairs to cars and vans. You should be knowledgeable in;
- Diagnostics
- Timing Belt and chains
- Head Gasket replacement
- Air conditioning

You should be able too;
- Diagnose faults correctly on all vehicles
- Work to a high standard
- Have an eye for detail but in a time efficient manner

n this role you will service and repair mechanical faults with a range of vehicles. You will also have the opportunity to enhance your skills through training courses and progress to MOT Tester.
This is an exciting opportunity
The Role requires:
• Monday – Friday 8.30-5.30
• Full driving licence
• Own tools
• 20 Days holiday plus Bank Holidays
• Competitive salary

Any NHS staff in need of an mot we don’t normally open on Saturday’s but I’ll open up an mot your car for free I’ll open 9am till 12

Cars due mot have now been giving an extra 6 months but they are still saying not to drive your vehicle unless it’s road...

MOT tests - should you attend?

We haven't yet been given advice from the DVSA about MOT test regulations following the announcement of lockdown in the UK.

At this moment we are advising our customers to come for their appointment as usual to ensure the safety of your vehicles - if your MOT is due to expire in the next month & you need to use your vehicle.

We're monitoring this closely tonight (23rd march) and early tomorrow (24th march).

If we're given advice that we should close, we will advise customers of what they should do if your MOT is due to expire whilst we all go through this. The government may issue an extension of your MOT expiry but until we get guidance on this we don't want to risk people driving unroadworthy vehicles.

We understand people will be unsure of what to do & will do everything we can to get information to you as soon as we can.

We will be on hand in the morning to answer any queries.
