You might have spotted a new face around Brad’s Tyres recently… we welcome Kieran to the team!🙌🏻

Kieran is Brad’s son and the newest member of our team. He’s recently moved back to Kent to work alongside his dad full-time, learning the business inside and out. 🛞🔧

He’s already got plenty of knowledge under his belt, but he’s keen to learn everything he can — with the hope of one day taking over the family business and continuing what Brad started💛

If you pop in, you’ll probably be greeted by Kieran! He’s super friendly, always happy to help and will make sure you receive great customer service with a smile.

We’re really excited to have him on board and to see the next generation of Brad’s Tyres getting stuck in!

Your tyres are the only part of your car in contact with the road — so keeping them in good condition matters!

Keep an eye out for these 5 warning signs:

⚠️ 1. Low tread
The legal minimum is 1.6mm — but don’t wait until your tyres are completely worn.

⚠️ 2. Cracks or perishing
Cracks in the rubber can be a sign your tyres are ageing.

⚠️ 3. Bulges or lumps
A bulge in the sidewall can indicate internal damage and needs checking promptly.

⚠️ 4. Uneven wear
One part of your tyre wearing faster than another could point to pressure, alignment or suspension issues.

⚠️ 5. Losing pressure regularly
Constantly topping up the same tyre? There could be a puncture, valve issue or damage.

Did you know that incorrect tyre pressure is one of the most common (and easily fixed) issues we see at Brad’s Tyres?

Here’s why it’s worth checking regularly:
✅ Safety – Correct pressure gives better grip, shorter braking distances and reduces the risk of blowouts.
✅ Tyre Life – Under-inflated tyres wear faster and unevenly. Over-inflated ones wear out the centre.
✅ Fuel Efficiency – Properly inflated tyres can save you money at the pump.
✅ Comfort & Handling – Feel the difference in how your car drives.

💡 Top Tip: Check your pressures at least once a month when the tyres are cold (before driving). Use the manufacturer’s recommended settings – usually found on a sticker in the driver’s door frame or in your handbook.
