We took this MK2 Ford Cortina from ugly roof to lovely roof!. The owner had long wanted to get rid of the leaky ugly pop up sun roof and replace it with a period correct Webasto roof. Unfortunately it quickly became clear the hole left by the old sunroof was too big to take the new roof. What followed was a substantial amount of work to make the owners dream come true. We had to remove the existing vinyl roof and all the glue, Remove the headlining, Weld new steel into the roof, Cut the replacement Webasto frame in & test fit, Bodywork the roof, Install a new vinyl roof & bespoke headlining then finally it was time to install (for the last time) the Webasto roof. Not an easy or cheap job but well worth it and each step was carried out in house.

It’s always a good day when we can be responsible for bringing another classic car back to life. This Triumph Herald 13/60 was last on the road sometime in the late 1990’s. Huge credit to the new owner who found it on a well known classic car auction for seeing it through until the end as it certainly needed its fair share of parts and labour to say the least. Not that it didn’t have its positives with a surprisingly solid chassis and underside it’s was mainly mechanical items that had suffered engine and gearbox were sound. Another iconic car back on the road to be enjoyed for years to come!.

Period correct Webasto roof incoming for this Mk2 Cortina well once we add some new steel, Vinyl roof and headlining that is!. unfortunately the hole left by the ugly sunroof is wider than the replacement time for the welder!

The interior on the 1977 Pontiac Firebird is finally back in for the first time in over 7 years!. While the seats & steering wheel are the original items it left the factory with we have also fitted a load of new and in house refurbished parts such as a brand new carpet & tread plates, Fully refurbished dash including the iconic gold painted sections, Re-webbed the original GM seat belts, Refurbished centre console, Custom parcel shelf and headlining all finished off with any remaining trim wrapped in black vinyl. One step closer to being back on the road!.

First customer collection day of 2026 today and the sun was actually shining for a change!.

We carried out a huge amount of work to this beautiful Volvo P1800S. On the engine/mechanical side we fully refreshed the engine bay including painting the engine red, Fully reconditioned the cylinder head, Shot blasted & painted the manifolds, Rebuilt & tuned the twin SU carbs complete with ethanol proof floats & bespoke copper fuel lines topped off with polished sports air filters and the addition of updated float chamber tops to divert potential fuel overflows away from the exhaust manifold!.

We also fitted a modern electronic ignition system with bespoke wiring to allow it to work with the P1800S unique ignition coil along with new red HT leads & NGK spark plugs. Also on the list was the cooling system which was fully flushed and fitted with a new thermostat, hoses & fresh coolant.

On the exterior we fitted brand new chrome door handles along with a matched set of lock barrels.

Lastly on the interior we fitted an original pair of sun visors and a period correct stereo converted to Bluetooth finished off with our bespoke polished surround. We also converted the starter over to a push button to preserve the ignition keys as ignition keys snapping on the crank phase/turn of the ignition switch is a common issue with the early P1800. Now once again a truly beautiful, useable classic.

Finally some decent progress on the 73 BMW 2002 TIl. Last thing we want to do at this stage is rush (we certainly couldn’t be accused of that!!)😁
