Longton Carnival - Lancashire this weekend. The theme was “Through the Years”. So we thought why not showcase “vehicles through the years”. So behind one of our service vehicles we had a 1910 Foden steam fairground engine pulling our 1969 Atkinson mk2 which also had our 2001 Scania 144 on a straight bar behind being pulled along as well.
We were also proud to provide truck, curtainsider trailer and a driver for Little Hoole schools float, who had “Music through the years” with live music being performed through the procession.

So this was this weeks new purchase. A Nooteboom extendable semi low loader. Complete with rear self track axle, outriggers, pull out marker boards, beacons, chain box and ramp storage box. There is also a combination rear ramp including pedestal arrangement due shortly to compliment this trailer. This should give a loading angle of around seven degrees. The long neck ramps will also give a good gradient up onto the neck. We will post more information on these when they arrive.
