Job Title: HGV MOT Lane Coordinator

About Us:
We are a well-established trailer rental and maintenance company, providing exceptional services to our fleet and to external clients. We are currently seeking a HGV MOT Lane Coordinator to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our MOT test lanes.
Position Overview:
As the HGV MOT Lane Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the movement of vehicles through our MOT lanes, coordinating tests such as brake tests, emissions checks, headlight aim checks, and loading vehicles with concrete blocks using a telehandler. You will also maintain the cleanliness and organization of the test lane and update the online diary system.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the scheduling and movement of vehicles through each MOT lane.
Complete voluntary brake tests, emission tests, and headlight aim checks.
Load vehicles with concrete blocks using a telehandler.
Use the online diary system to view, edit, and manage vehicle appointments.
Maintain the cleanliness of the test lane, including brushing and mopping at the end of each day.
Essential Qualifications:
Transport industry background is an advantage.
HGV class 1 & Telehandler licence is an advantage (Telehandler training provided).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to keep the test lane clean and organized.
